Max Verstappen is in good shape at the start of the Spanish Grand Prix, but Sergio Perez has to attack from further away. The teammates explain their qualifying in a Red Bull Racing video.

"In general qualifying was not bad, we still struggled a bit with the balance though," states Verstappen. His first run in Q3 was "quite good" in his own words, but he didn't get the chance to do a second run. "Nevertheless, second place is a good result," said the world champion.
"It was difficult, I didn't manage to get into the rhythm," said Perez. "That proved costly." The Mexican is clearly dissatisfied, but motivated to make up for it during the race.
