The Hypercar class of the 24 Hours of Le Mans seems decided. The Toyota GR with start number 8 with Ryo Hirakawa spun out with less than 2 hours to go. As a result, victory seems to go to the Ferrari with start number 51, which currently has former Formula 1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi behind the wheel.
Hirakawa braked while braking at Arnage. As a result, the Japanese spun and hit the crash barriers. The Toyota could continue driving, but the battle for victory in the Hypercar class thus will likely go to the Ferrari.
