Max Verstappen has managed to close the gap with Lewis Hamilton after ten laps and is even driving within the DRS zone of his British rival. However, the Red Bull Racing driver was informed via the on-board radio that he is actually driving a little too close to Hamilton's W11.

Gianpiero Lambiase, the engineer of Verstappen, announces over the onboard radio that it is still too early in the race to drive so close to Hamilton. That would be to the detriment of the condition of the tyres.

Verstappen doesn't want to know anything about this and reacts on the onboard radio: "This is the only chance to be this close to the Mercedes. I am not going to sit behind like a grandma."
