Charles Leclerc crashed during the second free practice session for the Mexican Grand Prix. In doing so, the Ferrari driver caused a red flag while the Tecpro barrier was repaired.
Leclerc lost control of his Ferrari at turn seven, where he parked the rear of the F1-75 hard into the barrier. When asked if he was OK, a balding Leclerc could be heard on the radio. " I am okay, but the car is not," sounded the reply from the cockpit.
Ferrari has a lot of work to do after this session and repairing the Tecpro barrier will also take considerable time. The latter will be less of a problem for most of the drivers, as this practice says little for the rest of the weekend.
