Kevin Magnussen will be moved back five places on Sunday. The Haas driver will receive a grid penalty from the
FIA for changing his internal combustion engine (ICE). It is already his sixth of the season, well exceeding the maximum of three.
Magnussen is likely to have to start the race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez from one of the last rows of the grid as he switched to his sixth ICE of the season. The Dane only came into action during the Grand Prix weekend in Mexico during the second free practice session. During the first practice session, he had to relinquish his Haas to Pietro Fittipaldi, who did not take a seat in the American car for the first time. He replaced
Romain Grosjean in 2020 after his serious accident in Bahrain.
