Max Verstappen has been given a penalty by the race committee for the incident with Lewis Hamilton during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He gets a penalty of ten seconds!

Penalty for Verstappen

Hamilton tried to overtake the Dutchman, but both drivers ran wide and went off track. Red Bull instructed Verstappen to give Hamilton back his position to avoid a penalty. The Brit didn't see this coming and crashed into the back of the Red Bull.

Ridiculous. You get 5 or 10 sec penaltys for cuting corners, or not leaving enough space. What max did was totally diferent. He braked in the middle of the track, while letting lewis pass. Clearly looking for contact. Unsportmans attitude, 10 sec is not nearly enough

Agreed. But if they put a 5 place grid drop for the final race they'd have been accused of influencing the championship.
FIA can't win whatever they do but what they do need to do, regardless of the situation, title on the line or not, is be consistent with their punishments.

Max played it dirty several times today. The amount of times Lewis has had to move out of Max's way to avoid a collision this season is just ridiculous.
The one time he didn't the trolls think it's his fault (Silverstone). Well no. Max needs to be shown that he can't always get away with the way he drives.

As Lewis says, the rules apply to everyone except him.
