If someone turned off qualifying after the session has concluded, they would still likely see many changes to the starting grid compared to how the event finished in Bahrain.
In total, there will be three changes to the grid compared to the results achieved on track at the Bahrain International Circuit.
To begin with, because of a delayed decision, Nico Hülkenberg will start from P16 on the grid. The German's lap in Q1 should have been deleted, however, it was not realised in time by the stewards.
Therefore, the German qualified for Q2, where he finished in P13. Compared to those initially results which were displayed at the end of Q2, Fernando Alonso, Esteban Ocon and Alexander Albon will all gain a position.
Moreover, the two Mercedes drivers both received a one-place grid penalty. Instead of starting in P2 and P4, they will start from a place behind respectively. That led to Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly gaining a single position.
In terms of the current championship Top 3, nothing changes. Oscar Piastri will start from pole position, Lando Norris will start from P6, while Max Verstappen will line up in seventh position on Sunday.
