Charles Leclerc was comfortably in the lead ahead of the
French Grand Prix, but after eighteen laps the
Ferrari driver crashed into the wall. The Monegasque takes home zero points in the battle against
Max Verstappen.
Leclerc got away well at the start and managed to keep Verstappen behind, despite the Dutchman staying in the
Ferrari car's DRS for laps. Leclerc managed to widen the gap and Verstappen made an early pit stop, so things were looking good for the Monegasque. However, Leclerc ruined his own race.
