It was another interesting race at the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend. Max Verstappen won a dominant race and Lando Norris was also the star of the day with a spot on the podium. Sky Sports are back with a list of their driver rankings.

Verstappen gets the maximum result

Verstappen comes in with a big ten. The Dutchman finished on P1 and achieved the first Grand Slam of his career.

"No two races are ever the same in Formula 1, but the two at the Red Bull Ring came pretty close for Max. Indeed, as he mentioned himself on the radio afterwards, runaway race two was arguably even better than runaway win one. Lando Norris almost threw a spanner in the works at the end of Q3 but once Verstappen was again on pole for the start and then cleanly out of Turn One in the lead, he was barely seen again. That's what you call dominance," reads the Sky website.

Norris scores, Mercedes stays behind

Like Verstappen, Norris also gets a ten from Sky's team. "On Sunday drove very strongly all race to initially stay ahead of the Mercedes' and then split them when Hamilton's pace slowed." The McLaren driver even managed to almost take pole position away from Verstappen.

Despite Lewis Hamilton's mediocre race, he still gets the same grade as Bottas, who finished on P2, an eight out of ten. The damage he suffered to his floor was the main reason for his fourth place finish. The gap to Verstappen is widening and the Mercedes-driver has never won a championship from such a large gap.

George Russell scored a nine, despite missing out on points. "Alonso got it in the end, despite an impressive and long defence from Russell, so the Briton's wait for that first elusive Williams point continues. Q3 and ninth-fastest in qualifying - ahead of the Ferraris, also on the medium tyre - was a sensational effort and although losing places on lap one was not ideal, Russell raced strongly to the end."
