The
Formula 1 teams are ready for a second round of testing in Bahrain after the first three days of testing in Barcelona. From 10-12 March, they will have the opportunity at the
Bahrain International Circuit to prepare for the new season, which starts a week later.
The excitement is greater than ever this season. While
Red Bull Racing and Mercedes stood out last season, the new regulations seem to have thrown everything upside down. Both teams will have to watch out for competition from
McLaren and
Ferrari, while the other teams are also improving.
For Verstappen and Hamilton it will above all be a matter of getting off to a good start. Both drivers showed a high level of performance last season and are eager to get back on track in 2022. That will not be easy though with all the rule changes that took place.
Excitement for test days in Bahrain increases
It is reason enough for the teams to start strong right away. They will use the three test days in Bahrain to get all the details clear, so that on 20 March, when the first race starts, they can immediately show what they have.
