Red Bull Racing is once again entering the history books. The Austrian racing stable broke a record with Max Verstappen finishing in P1 in Hungary: winning no fewer than 12 races in a row.
Before today McLaren, had the most race wins in a row. In 1988, the British team won no fewer than 11 races in a row. At the previous Grand Prix, in Silverstone, Red Bull already equalled the record by getting their eleventh victory in a row.
The win streak began for the team with Max Verstappen's victory in Abu Dhabi last year. After a win for the Dutchman in Bahrain, ahead of his teammate's, Sergio Perez's in Jeddah, a Dutch win in Australia, a Mexican win in Baku and victories for Verstappen in Miami, Monaco, Spain, Canada, Austria, Silverstone, and finally at the Hungarian Grand Prix by once again Verstappen marked number 12.
