This afternoon were the press conferences with the drivers. Also present was Carlos Sainz. The Ferrari driver discussed the speed difference between the Ferrari and Red Bull.

"In Austria we outraced them by a big margin," Sainz told the press present, including GPBlog.com. "In France it was me passing Perez coming from 20th. And that was about two to three races ago." The Spaniard is confident that Ferrari can still match the Red Bulls' speed.

Red Bull would always win at Spa

Spa was truly a Red Bull circuit according to Sainz. He is convinced Red Bull would always win at that circuit. "If we went back to Spa ten times, they would win ten times. They have the package for that circuit."

He therefore believes there are gains to be made at those circuits. "But I think we can do something better from those tracks, that we can close the gap more."

RB not quicker than Ferrari? The way Max breezed pass Sainz and George overtaking Charles , then pulled a gap and was then catching up with himself, tells me the Ferrari is somehow pretty slow at SPA. They were very quick at the beginning of the year, but RB’s updates to the car has made it quicker now, and combined with Max’s driving ability, he is currently unstoppable!

Let's hope so. Even if the car is faster they may still falter with strategy. Pretty odd what's going on there.
