Max won Hungary by 33secs, on his last stint he was trundling around 2 seconds slower than his fastest lap NOW tell me the car is the forth fastest car on the grid.

The rule change in 2022 was going to bring the teams close in racing, to me alot of the teams are closers then ever in f1, if you remove Verstappen from the grid its been the Closest racing we have ever had Mercedes used to spend 650 million back in the day and Ferrari did to but Mercedes still where beating the.

I have enjoyed it. I just dont want Max to become a lazy driver. I want him to be even better. He is 25 now. Maybe when he turns 30 then he will be even better. Good competition will do Max no harm. You are only as strong as your closest competitor.

Lol you just summed why I don't rate him highly, he has never had a competitive teamate, and in the most dominant car we have seen in years, without that competitive teamate he is just a good driver in a brilliant car .

I consider all of them to be excellent drivers, but they all lack at least 2-3 years of experience. Max has an advantage because he started much earlier. I don't think any of them could beat Max. It's a completely new game, which they haven't tried before. We see that Max practically does not make mistakes, or if he does, these mistakes are harmless and do not affect the result, and we have seen that Rus and Lec do not yet function perfectly when under pressure, and we know that they will make unforced mistakes, and how right now they are not better than their team mates, I throw them out. That's why I would choose Lando out of the three, but I haven't seen what he is like yet, when he fights for the top from race to race. Even if I could choose from all of them, I would choose Lewis. I would like to see that.

@Ludizapoli, the RB19 is a brilliant car , any of the 3 drivers would be able to better Max in it , whats up ,maybe you have specific driver feel free to share .

You keep pushing the question of a competitive team mate for Max, because according to you, without that you can't see whether he is really of high quality or if it's just the car, and Max just turns the wheel slightly and wins everything without his excessive involvement, what would in fact, the vast majority of drivers on the grid could. The car itself compensates for the lack of talent, look at Pérez, his history of results speaks volumes. Even with Max he was not achieving the amount of success he is now with lessor cars .

That's your reason and you have the right to it. It would also be nice to hear who you think, out of all the drivers, can come to RB and provide better results and have less pressure than Max would have for that.
