Max Verstappen took his tenth pole of 2021 at the Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday afternoon as he Dutch driver beat Lewis Hamilton to secure the best possible starting position in his bid to win the world title tomorrow. Hamilton will start second, while Valtteri Bottas disappointed down in sixth place.
A driver who managed to surprise however, is Lando Norris. The McLaren driver drove the third quickest time and sees him line-up directly behind Verstappen and next to Sergio Perez. On the third row of the grid, Bottas is joined by the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz.
