A big fan of Max Verstappen has all the Red Bull Racing driver's victories tattooed on him. What may have started as a joke after the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix won by Verstappen has now gotten a little out of hand. After all, the (still only) 24-year-old Dutchman has already won 26 times in Formula 1.

Tattoos of Verstappen

“Oh, yeah, that’s crazy. Like… that’s massive! Then you’re a big fan. To do something like that... I mean, even I don’t have any tattoos with 33 or memories of my wins or whatever..." he told GP Racing magazine. In recent seasons, Verstappen has worked hard on his palmares. "I think the guy is now all the way down to his ass. I don’t know if he has done more. I should actually find out.”

In any case, Verstappen knows that the tattoos will have to get smaller and smaller. "Yeah, exactly! I don’t know how he’s going to put… the rest. Because if you put it the same size, there is no space," laughed Verstappen, who feels honoured that a fan has done this.

Verstappen's first five victories are written large on the back of the fan in question. A few years ago, he also promised that even a possible 91st victory of Max (which at the time would mean equalling Michael Schumacher's record) would be tattooed on his body. When it no longer fits on his back, the legs come into play.
