After all the difficulties of today's running in FP1 and FP2, Red Bulls Sergio Perez could only manage P4 behind his teamate. But despite the tricky condtions Perez remained positive after the afternoons runnning in Sazuka.

"It's a shame for the fans because of the weather but it's looking better for tomorrow," Perez told Sky Sports. "Sunday looks a but mixed so could be a great day for the fans. The track is always a challenge even if it's wet"

    Suzuka always delivers

Whilst the weather may not be in perfect condition it hasn't stopped Perez and most of the other drivers from dubbing it the best track in the world. "It's great. It's the best track in the world."

    A look ahead

With FP3 supposedly meant to be dryer than the conditions we saw today. Will Red Bull be able to close that gap to Mercedes and following on from his win in Singapore, or can Sergio Perez go back-to-back for the first time in his career?
