Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F2003-GA will be auctioned off. The car from the seven-time world champion's dominant Formula 1 era is expected to fetch between €7.5 and €9.5 million.
Schumacher's 2003 Ferrari up for auction
Schumacher booked his penultimate world title with the 2003 Ferrari car, which will be auctioned by Sotheby's. The auction house predicts proceeds of up to 9.5 million euros. If that amount is achieved, it will become the second most expensive F1 car ever sold at auction. The most expensive F1 car was Juan Manuel Fangio's 1954 Mercedes W196R, which went under the hammer for almost $30 million.
Earlier, Schumacher's Ferrari F2001, F2002 and F300 were also auctioned. These fetched $7.5 million, $6.6 million and $6.2 million respectively. The auction of the Ferrari F2003-GA will start at 3pm GMT on 9 November and can be found at the Sotheby's auction house website.
