Toto Wolff crashed a Mercedes AMG GT3. The team boss was out with Andrea Kimi Antonelli but lost control of his car under the watchful eye of Netflix.
On Monday morning, Wolff and Antonelli headed together to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola). There, they had a Mercedes AMG GT3 of AKM Motorsports, Marco Antonelli's team. Netflix for Drive to Survive was also there to witness this spectacle, and they had front-row seats to what happened next.
Wolff lost control
According to Motorsport.com, Wolff lost control of his car at Rivazza due to damp patches on the track. In the incident, the Mercedes team boss damaged the right front of his car. In the afternoon, the Austrian got back behind the wheel. Antonelli will turn up after his day at school.
Antonelli was in action in Saudi Arabia last weekend. The Mercedes-trained junior finished sixth twice, putting him tenth in the championship on 12 points. His teammate at Prema, Oliver Bearman, took pole position on Thursday but didn't score any points in F2. The Briton did so on behalf of Ferrari in F1.
