Horner saga gets new chapter: former PA back as interim
The saga around Christian Horner has got a next chapter. Indeed, it appears that Nicole Carling - the former assistant (PA) to the British team principal - has returned to Red Bull Racing as an 'interim executive assistant'.
Horner was accused of transgressive behaviour by a female employee two months ago. The Red Bull Racing team principal and CEO was cleared after an investigation by an external lawyer. Following that, the woman in question was suspended in early March, according to information from this website"for allegedly not being fair". The suspended employee supposedly previously held an assisting role at Horner's office.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday that Nicole Carling is now temporarily helping to manage Horner's schedule. GPblog made enquiries with Red Bull Racing and received confirmation from the Austrian formation that Carling has indeed been appointed as an 'interim executive assistant'.
Suspended employee wants to return to work
The woman who accused Horner of transgressive behaviour - and recently appealed against the external lawyer's ruling - is still sitting at home. Although the appeal is yet to be heard, the woman does want to return to work as normal. She is reportedly demanding that Red Bull stop her gardening leave.
