Mercedes officially announced their driver lineup for the 2025 season, meaning they have finally announced that Andrea Kimi Antonelli will be on the grid next year alongside George Russell. Another seat has been filled for the 2025 season, and there are only a couple more spaces to be filled. View the full overview of the drivers who have a contract for the 2025 F1 season here.

18 drivers are assured of a spot on the 2025 F1 grid. Max Verstappen even has a contract until 2028. Most drivers who have a contract for 2025 have a multi-year deal.

Now, after the official announcement of Antonelli signing for Mercedes, only seats at Visa Cash App RB and at Sauber remain. With that seat at the Stake F1 team, there is an added layer to it, as they will become Audi in 2026.
