Watch: The Race Start of the Imola Grand Prix

It was a relatively calm start in Imola. Max Verstappen was able to clear Lando Norris easily. Norris had to defend his position from Charles Leclerc, who had a look up the Briton's inside, but the Monegasque driver did not have enough space to overtake. In the top 10, Yuki Tsunoda lost two places to Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenberg.
