What is Lando Norris' hometown?
Norris was born in Bristol on 13 November 1999. His dad, Adam Norris, is British and one of Bristol's wealthiest people. His mother is from the Flanders region of Belgium, meaning that Norris is actually British-Belgium, but he races under the flag of the United Kingdom.
Although Norris was born in Bristol, the McLaren driver did most of his growing up in the town of Glastonbury in the county of Somerset, which he calls his hometown. Glastonbury is also the host of the iconic Glastonbury Music Festival. Somerset was where Norris went to school before he moved to Glastonbury, attending Millfield School in the village of Street in Somerset.
The move to Glastonbury helped Norris pursue his career as a racer, which started at the age of seven. He became the youngest karting World Champion in the CIK-FIA World Championship in KF class in 2014, which is the year the 24-year-old made his car racing debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship, which is a support series to the British Touring Car Championship. He finished third in the championship, winning four races and claiming the Rookie Cup. That led to him winning the Formula 3 championship in 2017 and his seat at McLaren in 2019.
