Silverstone's history, the first, second and third places feature just British drivers.
George Russell will start the race from pole position, followed by his teammate
Lewis Hamilton.
McLaren driver
Lando Norris qualified in third place.
The start of qualifying saw variable weather. It rained occasionally and then it dried up again. Perez had just changed to the soft tyre when things went wrong for him. The Mexican lost control and ended up in the gravel. As a result, he has to start the race from 19th place.
Max Verstappen also experienced a moment due to some wet spots on the track, which landed him in the gravel. Unlike Perez, the Dutchman was able to continue his way, but his floor was damaged. As a result, Verstappen had to make do with fourth place.
