Verstappen confirms conversation with race engineer Lambiase in Belgium

There is a conversation between Max Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase in Belgium, the former confirmed in the Spa-Francorchamps paddock on Thursday. The duo, who know each other so well, clashed over the team radio during the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The story is well known: frustrations took over for Verstappen in the disappointing race at the Hungaroring. Lambiase also had to take the brunt of this. The three-time world champion accused his race engineer of 'stupid comments' afterwards.
When asked if he had a good conversation with Lambiase after the race on Sunday, Verstappen replied in the presence of GPblog and others: "No, not yet, but I mean he's arriving today and we'll discuss, but like we always do. When you don't hear anything about it, we always discuss stuff. It's quite normal."
Incidentally, Verstappen has no plans to change his way of communicating over the team radio. In Belgium, he let critics know that they should just turn down the volume at home or stop listening altogether if it is not to their liking.
