F1 World Drivers Championship standings after Italian Grand Prix

The Italian Grand Prix has been won by Charles Leclerc. Lando Norris wanted to take full advantage of the situation Max Verstappen found himself in. He made gains, but it could've been bigger. This is what the standings look like among the drivers after the race in Italy.

Norris closes in on Max Verstappen

With Charles Leclerc's win at Monza, Lando Norris' third-place finish and Max Verstappen's sixth-place finish, the Briton has not moved much closer in the drivers' standings. Afterwards, the Briton was therefore disappointed.

Leclerc did excellent business after the race in Italy. The Monegasque managed to outrun Oscar Piastri in the battle for third place in the standings.
