What is the Sky Sports broadcast schedule for the United States Grand Prix?

Formula 1 returns after its month-long autumn break, with the United States Grand Prix taking place this weekend. Teams and drivers will return to the grid at the Circuit of The Americas for the sprint weekend, with there now just six races remaining until the 2024 season concludes. Commentary and coverage will be provided across the entire weekend by Sky Sports, with the timings listed below.
Full Sky Sports Schedule for the United States Grand Prix
Sky Sports F1 will broadcast every single session from Austin, Texas this weekend, starting on Friday, 18 October with the first and only free practice session of the sprint weekend. The programme will start at 18:00, having half an hour of build-up before the hour-long session gets underway at 18:30. Sprint Qualifying will then take place after FP1, starting at 21:30 with an hour of build-up before the session gets underway at 22:30.
On Saturday, 19 October, the Sprint Race will be the first session on the track, with coverage starting at 18:00 before the lights go out an hour later at 19:00. After that, qualifying for the main race will then take place, with coverage starting at 22:00 before it gets underway at 23:00.
Sunday, 20 October will be Grand Prix day at the Circuit of The Americas, with Max Verstappen and Lando Norris looking to do battle once more as the drivers' championship continues to hot up. There will be an hour and a half of build-up on Sky Sports F1 for the Grand Prix, which will start at 18:30. Lights out for the main race will be at 20:00.
Only F1 is taking place around COTA this weekend, meaning there will be no Formula 2 or F1 academy action to be broadcast by Sky Sports F1.
