Charles LeclercWill Verstappen win the World Championship?
The reigning world champion finished in fifth place but does start ahead of
Lando Norris. If the results remain as they are on the starting grid, Verstappen will be crowned
F1 world champion of 2024 after Las Vegas.
Behind the title rivals,
Yuki Tsunoda will start from P7. Tsunoda was faster than
Oscar Piastri,
Nico Hulkenberg and
Lewis Hamilton. The Briton did not complete a fast lap in Q3 and therefore starts from P10.
Sergio Perez can be found even further down the grid. Verstappen's teammate will start the race in Las Vegas from P15.
Franco Colapinto will not start where he qualified. The Argentinian got through to Q2 but crashed into the wall in that session.
Williams was able to repair the car, but Colapinto will now have to start from the pit lane.
