The Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend is over, and celebrations are in order! The 2024 championship battle is over, and all that's left to do is finish out the season's last two races.

Max Verstappen takes home his fourth

Three-time World Drivers' Champion Max Verstappen has officially become a four-time world title holder. He has placed his name next to the greats, such as recent winners Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton. After outscoring Lando Norris at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, he ended the battle for the 2024 season. He has his eyes set on earning another one next year after he gets done drinking his G&T.

Leclerc lets it out

Usually known for remaining PR perfect and loyal to Ferrari's calls, Charles Leclerc couldn't take it anymore today. He had some snappy comments for his race engineer, Bryan Bozzi. In the conversation with Bozzi, Leclerc said, “Yes, whatever you want, as always. Yeah, I did my job. But being nice f**ks me all the f**king time. All the f**king time. It’s not even being nice; it’s just being respectful; I know I need to shut up, but at one point, it is always the same, so… Oh my f**king god. F**king pick up what the f**k you want. And the radio is on; I am sorry.”

Mercedes has a double podium

Mercedes continued their domination of the Las Vegas Street circuit as they placed 1-2 on the podium today. George Russell started on pole and managed to convert his pole into a win. This is his second official win of the season. Lewis Hamilton also had a spectacular drive today as he worked his way up from 10th to 2nd. Unfortunately, there are over 100 points between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes, so the double podium doesn't put them any closer to winning a championship. Maybe next year!
