Only one day after Max Verstappen won his fourth world title, another former F1 driver won. With the announcement of a future 11th Formula 1 team, Mario Andretti was also announced to be joining Cadillac as Director of the board.

The celebration continues

It's not every day that a Formula 1 driver wins their fourth consecutive world title. In fact, there have only been 5 days in total where that has happened. With Max Verstappen pulling off the illustrious feat, the celebrations have continued into the next day. Verstappen started the party in the pits, where he started to celebrate with beer and Gin tonics. The media was happy to see a loose and lively Verstappen during their interviews with him. Those interviews have kept the media mill turning as all eyes remain on Verstappen. Now it's on to the new Grand Prix weekend; Qatar.

An 11th F1 Team

After years of attempting to join the grid again, Mario Andretti is one step closer to achieving his goal. Today, Formula 1 announced that they have reached an 'agreement in principle' for Cadillac to join alongside the 10 teams in 2026. They would be joining with General Motors (who would be later supplying engines). This news comes after Andretti withdrew from their attempt to join the grid.
