Arvid Lindblad reverses his weekend and leads the championship

Lindblad recovers in super license hunt: Wins main race in New Zealand

Arvid Lindblad is competing in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, where the Red Bull junior managed to win his first race. The Briton would have hoped for more at the first two events, but he won at his third try in the series hosted in New Zealand.

Lindblad takes the lead in the championship

Arvid Lindblad is considered to be a one to watch talent within the Red Bull academy. The Briton has been the part of the Austrian's junior programme since 2022, and recently he has been called the team's biggest junior talent by Helmut Marko.

This season, after he finished in P4 in the standings in Formula 3 the year before, Lindblad will compete in Formula 2. There he will team up with fellow Red Bull junior Pepe Martí, driving for Campos Racing. Beforehand however, he is driving in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship to help him earn super license posts.

During the first race of the weekend, Lindblad finished in a rather disappointing third place. He then finished third in the reversed grid race as well, and also claimed pole position for the main race. The Briton could then achieve his first victory in Race 3. As a result, he now leads the standings with 78 points ahead of F3 driver Matias Zagazeta.
