Brad Pitt was seen in the paddock and on the F1 grid multiple times over the past two Formula 1 seasons filming the 'F1' movie. Now, as the filming has concluded and the release date is getting closer, Formula 1 has released a teaser trailer. Many F1 teams and drivers have shared their excitement over it.
After Formula 1 released the official teaser trailer of the upcoming fictional F1 movie, many teams took to their Instagram comments to react. Despite many fans seeing the filming process through attending the Grands Prix, nobody knows what the movie's plot actually is, but the teaser is all about action.
'So we're actors now'
In the teaser, Brad Pitt can be seen going wheel to wheel with many actual F1 teams and drivers. There are crashes, spins, fireworks, actual fire, and intense emotions - much like there are during an actual Grand Prix weekend.
Ferrari, Haas, Sauber and Alpine all took to the comments to share their thoughts on the trailer. Alpine, which you can see as one of the cars that got into a collision in the trailer, said, 'Absolute Cinema' with their driver Jack Doohan, also commenting.
While it's not yet confirmed which exact F1 drivers will be featured in the movie, many have been active in the filming process. For example, at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, both George Russell and Charles Leclerc filmed for the movie after the conclusion of the race. The two F1 drivers were up on the second an third podium steps while Pitt occupied the first.
The F1 movie, F1 release to theatres on 25 June, 2025
