While many already consider Max Verstappen to be an all-time great, the Red Bull Racing driver is yet to believe his had reached his ceiling in the competition. As Verstappen hopes to win his fifth drivers' title in a row, he named his goals for the upcoming season.

Verstappen shares his goals for 2025

Only once it has been achieved in Formula 1 before, but now Verstappen hopes to repeat history to become the second driver ever to win five world titles in a row after Michael Schumacher. The German was crowned champion in every season from 2000 until 2004.

Of course in the competition, the car given to the driver matters a lot, and the 2025 season seems to be one for the ages, given that four frontrunner teams can all hope to fight for victories. Still, before pre-season testing or the first Grand Prix, the grid's power ranking remains unknown. Therefore, Verstappen has goals in terms of impoving his driving skills.

"Well, what I always aim for anyways: consistency and try not to make too many mistakes, which of course goes a bit hand in hand. Try to always improve myself, every single year. It’s not car related, just driving related," the Dutchman said at the ORBR Brand Shoot.

"You always try to just be a little bit better. I think at this stage of my career the improvements that you can make are smaller than when I was eighteen, but every year I would like to become a little bit better," the Dutchman concluded.
