Does Ocon aspire to a new career? 'This will definitely not be my last film'

A brand new career may be awaiting Esteban Ocon. The Haas F1 driver is currently starring in the French film 'Lune de Miel avec ma Mère' and it's given him a taste of the acting craft, something he'd like to have another go at, as he told GPblog and other media present in London.
A film that will also feature Ocon is coming out soon. But while the Frenchman is bound to play a minimal role in Brad Pitt's F1 film, he has a more substantial role in a different one. His first acting experience can now be watched on Netflix.
Ocon explains how he ended up in the film
It may not be an obvious choice, to act alongside racing. But in Ocon's case, it is different. " I'm a very good friend with a French actress called Michelle Larocque and she wanted to put me in her movie in a little scene," he says.
"And I said yes straight away because I wanted to see how it is to be in the movie industry, see how different it is to what we usually do in Formula 1 and honestly, it was a lot of fun playing in that Netflix movie. It's going on super well at the moment, it's number 2 in the world as well on Netflix. So yeah, super happy for everyone that has worked so hard that it's working so well."
Who's to say what the future holds for the French driver. After all, his cameo in the Netflix film may just be his first of many roles yet to come. "Hopefully, this won't be my last movie appearance because yeah, I've enjoyed it a lot for sure," he said.
