'Top of Ferrari already has someone in mind to replace team boss Binotto'

According to the Italian media, Mattia Binotto is under considerable internal pressure. Ferrari's team boss just can't get things straight at the Maranello based race team and that means the top of the Italian superpower is already looking for a possible replacement.
That's what Corriere Della Sera writes after Ferrari's double DNF last weekend during the second Grand Prix of the season at the Red Bull Ring. Ferrari President John Elkann and CEO Louis Camilleri are said to have had their eye on Antonello Coletta. The 53-year-old Italian is currently the leader of Ferrari's GT teams.
Ferrari must improve
The Italian medium writes that last week there was a crisis meeting at Ferrari. "On Monday in Maranello there was a long briefing to set the right course for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Sunday will be a turning point in the season. Some aerodynamic innovations, such as the front wing, will be included. In addition, there may be other updates, but a miracle cure is needed to resurrect the SF1000".
The credit of Binotto is almost similar in each: "In the coming weeks he will have to regain confidence, otherwise drastic measures will follow". The 50-year-old chief has been Ferrari's team boss since 2019 after Maurizio Arrivabene was sacked for disappointing performance.
