After an absence of eight years, the Turkish Grand Prix will return to the Formula 1 calendar on November 15th. The Istanbul Park circuit was the scene of a total of seven Formula 1 races between 2005 and 2011. The organization says they are ready for a new edition for the 2020 F1 season.

The organization of Istanbul Park announces that the circuit is very well maintained. "The circuit is one of the most valuable investments of our country and we are very excited about the prospect of the Grand Prix. We have always kept the circuit active and prepared, as if the races could resume at any moment." The last Turkish Grand Prix in 2011 was won by Sebastiaan Vettel for Red Bull Racing.
