After an exciting qualifying session on Saturday, the Belgian Grand Prix will start today at 15:10. Can Mercedes get through the first few laps without any problems or can the chasers provide us with a few surprises? You can follow it all in our live blog below.

Track Guide

Surprise at the start?

During qualifying, Mercedes again proved to be the team to beat, but the black arrows didn't dominate on Saturday as expected. Max Verstappen was only a fraction of a second behind Valtteri Bottas on a long-distance power circuit. Moreover, the Dutchman can finally get back support from Alexander Albon who starts from fifth place. In the meantime, Daniel Ricciardo can provide a big surprise, due to his high speed on straights and his place from the second row of the grid.

The Ferrari nightmare

The team that isn't doing so well, however, is Ferrari. Last year Charles Leclerc won convincingly on the same circuit and now the SF1000 is not burning ahead on the straights. Will the team still be able to score points in the race, or will they drop even more spots? We are going to find out during the race.
