Alexander Albon was unable to continue Mugello's good form in Sochi. The Thai driver will start from 10th place on Sunday and the podium seems far away for the Red Bull Racing driver.

Not a bad lap

"I actually don't know. My lap didn't feel too bad. I was quite happy with my lap. We have to take a look at it. It certainly felt like an improvement from the previous lap. It's just one of those, if you are just a little outside the "window" [it's a problem]," said Albon in a conversation with Sky Sports F1.

Albon hopes that he will have more chances at the start of the race tomorrow. The long straight to the first braking zone should help him with that. “Yes, it is a long way to the first corner. So we'll see in the race," Max Verstappen's teammate concludes.
