Update 15:38: Corberi responds to events

Corberi reacted to the events of last Sunday. The Italian apologizes to the entire motorsport world. "There are no excuses to explain why I took such a scandalous action. This is something I have never done in my fifteen-year career," he says on Facebook.

"After the race, I had to come to the stewards, I asked them to take away my licence because I am fully aware of my mistakes. They can't do this because of international rules, so don't be angry with them, they did what they could," Corberi continues. The full message can be read on his Facebook page.
