Romain Grosjean and
Kevin Magnussen both have no contract for 2021. However, at the press conference prior to the
Eifel Grand Prix, both Haas drivers did not seem too worried about their future.
From day to day
Earlier today Haas team boss
Guenther Steiner announced that no decision has yet been made regarding the choice of driver for 2021. Magnussen himself let us know to watch it from day to day, as can be read on
Formel1.de. The Danish driver explained how it doesn't help to set deadlines and is concentrating mainly on racing.
Grosjean added that he is not worried and that he has been in this situation before. "Hopefully the team will come to a decision soon," said the Frenchman, who said he would also look at other racing classes if his contract with Haas was not extended. "It's part of the job, but it's always nice to know what the future holds." Apart from Haas, there don't really seem to be any other options for Grosjean and Magnussen.
