"The Honda engine in the RB16 has never been so powerful"

Toyoharu Tanabe, the top man at Honda, is very satisfied with the drivers who use his engines. Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon qualified third and fourth, while AlphaTauri drivers Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat start in eighth and tenth.
So it looks like it could be a fruitful weekend for the men use a Honda engine. Verstappen and Albon will certainly have the urge to move forward, while Gasly and kvyat have already shown this year that they can score good points. This would be nice for Honda, because the results have been a bit disappointing in the past races.
"Very satisfied"
"Compared to the third free practice, some drivers have fallen back a bit, but that doesn't spoil the fun," says Tanabe in conversation with As.web. "In the end we are very satisfied because this is the second time this year that all drivers who ride a Honda engine have finished in Q3. All in all it has been a good weekend so far.
"On Saturday we were supposed to use a different engine, but we didn't like the dates," explains the Japanese about why the AlphaTauri mechanics broke the night clock on Friday.
"It looked as if something was wrong, but it has been fixed. We have worked well with the teams over the past few weeks and we have improved. The Honda engine in the RB16 has never been so strong".
