How the internet reacted: Mixed reactions to addition of second Austria race
- GPblog.com
It had been rumored for a while but the Turkish Grand Prix will not take place as originally scheduled following a rise in coronavirus cases. There is still a possibility that the race will take place later this year, but that chance seems small. With the addition of an extra race in Austria the Formula 1 calendar is back to 23 races.
Disappointed reactions after cancellation of GP Turkey
Understandably there are many disappointed reactions to the news that the race in Turkey has been postponed. But not only were there people were looking forward to the race; the circuit is generally loved by both drivers and viewers.
However, this is not the only thing that is being talked about; several people call it unnecessary to replace the race with another one given there are so many races already on the calendar.
Below some of the reactions to the news:

Is it really necessary to fill the gap left by the cancelled #TurkishGP? 22/23 is simply too many grands prix anyway. This obsession with event saturation is getting way out of hand.#F1
