Austria bans all flights from the United Kingdom as of June 1st

The Austrian government is imposing a ban on flights from the UK as of June 1, for fear of the Indian variant of the coronavirus. This could affect the two Grands Prix scheduled at the Red Bull Ring, but there might be a solution.
The doubleheader in Austria is scheduled for Sunday 27 June and Sunday 4 July, which could mean that both races are in jeopardy. Many teams have their home base in the UK, or have to fly in a lot of personnel or parts from the country.
Possible solution comes in the form of GP France
However, a possible solution also presents itself: a week earlier, on Sunday 20 June, the French Grand Prix is scheduled. The Formula 1 staff could therefore travel directly from France to Austria, which could make the measure a minor effect.
It is not the first time that Austria imposes such a ban. In December, all direct flights to and from the United Kingdom were already banned. That ban lasted until 21 March.
