Hamilton not happy with own pace: "I need to figure that out"

Lewis Hamilton was unable to impress on Friday in Qatar with two fourth places. He was reportedly running an older engine and a different set-up to Valtteri Bottas, so there may be more in store for the Mercedes driver.
Hamilton himself is visibly dissatisfied with his results on Friday. "I don't even know how big the gap is but I am off. So, I am definitely not close," he said in a conversation with Sky Sports.
Hamilton not concerned with Verstappen incident
Friday in Qatar was largely dominated by the decision of the stewards, who ruled that the incident between Hamilton and Max Verstappen in Brazil did not need further investigation. "I don't have thoughts on it because I was not part of it. I have been focussing on my weekends," he added.
The Mercedes driver doesn't want to say more than that about it. "At the moment as I said I am a little bit slow and I need to figure that out," the Briton concludes.
