Alex Albon hasn't scored points since the
Monaco Grand Prix, but the
Toro Rosso driver is expecting good performance from his car in next week's
British Grand Prix. The rookie driver has scored seven points this season, just three less than teammate
Daniil Kvyat.
The
Red Bull sister team is near the bottom of the midfield battle. They've got just a one-point gap between themselves and
Haas, while a positive weekend will see them challenge six-placed
Alfa Romeo. Albon believes the team will get one of those positive weekends.
"I’ve driven there less than probably any other F1 track in Europe! I think it’s one of my ‘home but not home’ tracks. We’ll see, in the pure high speed, we’re quite strong. So I’ll be interested to see if we can come back stronger," Albon is quoted by RaceFans.
