Claire Williams: Even Lewis Hamilton would finish last in our car

Williams have faced plenty of grief over their driver choice since it was announced. But Claire Williams knows their problems are so bad, even the best driver wouldn't be able to improve results.

The FW41 has picked up just four points this season. An honest Claire Williams confirms she knows how deep the problems are in her interview with the BBC.

Robert Kubica has proved he couldn't have done much better. Kubica has been involved in a few practice sessions during the season and hasn't got anything more than Stroll and Sirotkin have managed.

The daughter of Sir Frank Williams went on to defend her drivers and take the blame.

"They have had an enormous amount of criticism levelled at them, and that is somewhat unfair," she added.
