Nyck de Vries is looking forward to the
Austrian Grand Prix. The Dutchman hopes to revenge for his disappointing race weekend in Canada, evident from his words at the press conference ahead of the new race weekend.
In Montreal, De Vries drove a fairly anonymous race until he braked in battle with
Kevin Magnussen and saw his chances of a good result go up in smoke.
"Personally I think I did not do a good enough job in Canada, I think as a team we struggled a little bit," De Vries said is honestly.
"From P11 to P20, everything is so close that if you don't execute a good weekend, it immediately pushes you to the back." The Dutchman is still pointless, but knows how to deal with the pressure:
"We have got to make sure as a team stay all over everything and I've also got to do my job."Orange stands for Max
The man from Sneek has an advantage this weekend that he missed in Canada: he knows the track. "There is less time and there will be a little bit less time and there will be little bit more uncertainty, executing the maximum out of our package will be crucial." The former F2 champion expects a nice atmosphere to be presented among the Austrian mountains: "I guess we will see a lot of orange this weekend, which we'll be cool."
