Formula 1 has announced the driver entry list for the 2025 season and a few things catch the eye. VCARB's new name has been made official, but even more striking is that
Sergio Perez's name is also on it, submitted by
Red Bull Racing alongside
Max Verstappen's.
Perez on F1's entry list for 2025
There are many rumours about Verstappen possibly having a new teammate next year, with many hinting at a Mexican's early departure from the Austrian racing team. However, Perez's name can be found on the (provisional)
F1 driver's entry list for 2025. This doesn't say much, however, as the list of participants can still be modified.
Next year's entry list underwent several changes compared to last year's. For instance,
Visa Cash App RB's name change has been made official, as of the 2025 season it will be known as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. Another aspect which can be easily noticed is
Yuki Tsunoda's name, since it has been submitted under Red Bull's sister team, VCARB, and meanwhile his teammate,
Liam Lawson, is nowhere to be found on the document.
The official driver transferred can now be spotted on the entry list:
Lewis Hamilton has been signed up for
Ferrari,
Carlos Sainz for
Williams, Andrea Kimi Antonelli for Mercedes, Jack Doohan for Alpine,
Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman for Haas, and
Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto are under Sauber.'s name.
