In an interesting Sprint Qualifying session, Lando Norris could take advantage of his MCL38 and took pole position for the Sprint in Qatar. George Russell could finish in second place, while Oscar Piastri rounded off the Top 3.

Lando Norris looked comfortable Losail International Circuit, and could remain in P1 even after he failed to improve on his final lap. Moreover, Piastri will also start ahead of the two Ferraris, as Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc finished in P4 and P5 respectively.

After earning his fourth world title in Las Vegas, Max Verstappen finished in P6, ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Sergio Perez once again got eliminated early on, finishing in P16.

It was funny to see RUS & LEC in SQ1, as well as VER & PIA in SQ2 have the exact same lap times.

MB and MCL being strong here was a bit expected. The lack of bumps and therefore being able to run the car lower helped MB quite a bit. But still surprising.
MCL took profit from the track layout, as expected.
Ferrari let me a bit down. I was expecting more.
PER... Well... Next.
Good job by LAW, HUL and GAS too.

Looking forward for VER vs HAM tomorrow ?

Wonder if it'll be a 2021 repeat, Max won't be too concerned now he's got the title so he'll be all in but I don't see Lewis backing out of a move either

I don't think it is going to be a 2021 revival. As you said, VER isn't as concerned now, he might just enjoy some battles. I believe HAM wants to beat RUS in the final standings, he might be hungry tomorrow. Hopping for a great battle between both of them ?
