Red Bull junior
Arvid Lindblad can prepare for a new challenge in motorsport. He is currently racing in
Formula 3 but the 17-year-old British driver will compete in
Formula 2 from 2025.
Lindblad, being part of the Red Bull Junior Team, is being closely watched by Red Bull advisor
Helmut Marko. The 81-year-old Austrian has spoken positively about the up-and-coming star several times already this season. A fortnight ago, the driver, when speaking to
GPblog and others, told Marko that he was not concerned about
Formula 1 yet.
Lindblad very enthusiastic
Lindblad will once again have a chance to make his mark in
Formula 2. The boy from London will drive for Campos Racing. There is certainly no lack of enthusiasm, according to the press release.
"Super excited to be joining Campos Racing in FIA F2 for 2025. The team has had an amazing season so far and can’t wait to start working together," he said.
"The team seems very passionate, hungry and motivated to win. They’ll give me the tools and knowledge to continue to develop as a driver as we push each other to improve. I want to say thank you to everyone at Red Bull, the Junior Team and Campos Racing for the opportunity. I can’t wait to get started!”
