A warning for anyone planning to attend a Grand Prix in 2024. The FIA has announced on their site that there are companies that have put fake tickets on sale.
The FIA reports that there are two companies, Privè Global Events and Informa Hospitality Group, that have sent emails purportedly selling hospitality packages for Formula 1. These emails, which, at least so it seems, have been sent by the FIA, ask you to confirm the purchase of your hospitality tickets and thereby also pay for them. The emails may contain the logos of the FIA and Formula 1 and look realistic.
The FIA stresses that Privè Global Events and Informa Hospitality Group are not an authorised seller of F1 hospitality packages. The federation advises everyone to ignore the emails. F1 hospitality packages sometimes give access to the F1 paddock and are often accompanied by the expensive lifestyle. The price of these packages can run into the thousands of euros. In Las Vegas, you can get your spot for $3,000 per person like this. The most expensive packages are already heading towards 10,000 euros.
